The Hotel Miramare Stabia was built and first opened in ‘50s of the past century.
The superb location on the seafront of Castellammare di Stabia, in the heart of the Gulf of Naples, the temperate climate and the proximity to the Stabiae Thermal Center fostered the success of the Hotel Miramare, frequented by artists, actors, filmmakers and tourists from all over the world.
The Miramare hotel, at the end of the 70's has experienced a period of slow decline that led to the closure due to the rivalry of two families who each claimed the ownership and management and could not find a shared solution.
The establishment became dilapidated and reduced to a skeleton due to the abandonment lasted about forty years.
In 2007 it was taken over by bold and far-sighted entrepreneurs who had an ambitious project: rebuild the Hotel Miramare and bring it back to its former splendor, thought nobody, neither the citizens nor the local authorities, believed in the project.
The restructuring went on unabated and lasted several years, during which, under skillful direction of the works, the existing structure was reinforced and enhanced architecturally, respecting the original plan and enriched with ecological equipment and technological systems of the latest generation.
The Miramare Hotel was officially re-opened at the end of 2013 with ambitious prospective for tourism and economic revitalization of the town of Castellammare di Stabia and the entire Vesuvian area.
Today, thanks to a dynamic relationship between shapes, spaces, materials and services, comfort and safety are guaranteed and the Hotel Miramare is finally back to its original glory.
